Barcelona as a Hub for Latino Leadership: CLA and Arkapital Host Exclusive Dinner at LAMALVA
Arkapital co-hosted an intimate dinner alongside the Latino global business association CASA LATAM (CLA), gathering some of the most impactful Latino leaders who call Spain home. The evening took place in Barcelona, at LAMALVA, a venue celebrated for its creative, elegant and contemporary approach to Mediterranean cuisine.
The event was co-hosted by Annie Grijalva, Founder of CLA, together with Sandra and Isaac Salcido, co-founders of Arkapital. Guests represented a diverse range of industries including gastronomy, fashion, diplomacy and social impact, all united by their influence in shaping Latino leadership and community impact across Spain. Notable attendees included Jorge Gando, founder of the platform Foody Barcelona and Luz Reyna, founder of RCG Consulting whose contributions in their respective fields are helping elevate the visibility and voice of the Latino community in Spain.
A Night of Connection and Insight
The dinner was not only about celebrating success but also about fostering conversations that matter. Topics explored during the evening included:
Company formation abroad, navigating opportunities for global business expansion.
Foreign tax considerations, building strategies for international entrepreneurship.
Cultural sensitivity in leadership, understanding how heritage and perspective shape stronger and more empathetic global leaders.
Barcelona served as the ideal backdrop for this gathering. After first meeting during Madrid Fashion Week, members were inspired to make the city a point of reunion to celebrate its thriving gastronomy scene and the creative energy that unites its communities.
Looking Ahead to Paris
The momentum continues. The next CLA x Arkapital Business Luncheon & Dinners will take place in Paris, during Paris Fashion Week, highlighting the power of Latina women shaping the business of fashion. This upcoming gathering promises to be another moment of synergy, collaboration and meaningful relationship-building. At its heart, this series of private dinners reflects a shared mission to empower Latino leaders abroad, foster community and create bridges across industries and borders.
